In individual therapy I work one-on-one with you to resolve personal issues or conflicts, and help you find direction to grow and change. We can resolve emotional challenges of anxiety, depression, trauma, low self esteem, or questions of identity or sexuality. No matter the issue,I will help you set the goals you want to achieve, and support you in living and being the wholehearted and genuine You.
In my work with children and teens I provide a safe and confidential environment for them to process and grow via talk and play therapy. I will work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to address whatever concerns are present, while also creating a trusting relationship with the child/teen.
In Couples therapy, I work with partners to develop ways to strengthen and improve their connection and bond while processing issues. I use the Gottman method to work on issues from challenges in communication to recovering from infidelity. I also have experience working with non-traditional relationships, open marriages, poly couples and LGBTQ couples
Personal Growth Workshops are a great way to learn new skills and connect with others. I offer a variety of workshops both online and in person on Improv for Anxiety to Self Compassion and Mindful Parenting.
For more info about workshops please go to my workshops page.
Telehealth is a great way to connect with a therapist if you are unable to get into their office. With technology I can offer secure, confidential sessions without you making the trip to the my office. Telehealth sessions are available for couples, individuals and teens at this time.
Mental health advocacy is a a large part of my work, which is why I formed Mental Health Lou. As the Executive Director, I work with local mental health organizations and practitioners to connect the community with resources and education. I organize workshops, run social media campaigns and do talks on community mental health care. For more information please check out Mental Health Lou.
